About

In the tradition of crackpot researchers, I used myself as a guinea pig for some unofficial research when studying for an MSc Education (e-Learning) at Oxford.  I was investigating whether blogging would help secondary students learn maths. Answer: doubt it. Any benefits I get from writing and reflecting about my learning are offset by making it public.

Now I’m just randomly blogging. Experiencing the “social” Web 2.0, virtual presence and micro-publishing. Some surprisingly accurate observations in Stern (2008).

Also indulging my digital magpie tendencies – collecting digital artifacts that catch my eye. Maybe this is just a front for my favourite bits of The Onion ;)
